During these surveys, customers are asked to rate their overall satisfaction with Roseville Electric Utility using a scale from 1 to 10. Subsequently, responses are grouped as follows:
* Ratings between 6 and 10 are categorized as "Satisfied".
* Scores of 5 and 6 are categorized as "Neutral".
* Scores ranging from 1 to 4 are categorized as "Dissatisfied".
There were variations in this scoring metric in certain years. This can be attributed, in part, to changes in research companies and requests for modifications from CMUA members/survey participants over time. For instance, some surveys did not differentiate between neutral and dissatisfied scores, while certain survey versions included an 11th choice of "Unsure", which was considered neutral.
